With years of studies on human geography and urban-rural planning, she directed 2 projects supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China, which are Study on the Urban-rural Harmony Development Mode in Northeast China from the Perspective of Social Change, and Resource Curse Effect and Transition of Resource-based Cities in Northeast China, 1 project funded by National Development and Reform Commission of China, and published over 50 academic papers.
